Based in North Attleboro, Massachusetts, Steven Bankert is an entrepreneur with extensive experience in electrical contracting and operating laundromats and indoor family entertainment centers. In addition to activities with family and grandchildren, Steven Bankert currently stays busy as a secret shopper. For over a quarter century, he has made visits to businesses when owners are not present and checked out the quality of products and services. He’s compiled paid reports on restaurants, casinos, gas stations, amusement parks, car dealerships, and tourist attractions.
From 2019 to 2024, Steven Bankert owned and managed Kidz Wurld, an indoor family entertainment center that he purchased when it had already shuttered. Breathing new life into the venture, his team created a fun, interactive environment for activities such as birthdays. Visits included pizza, lemonade, cake, and ice cream, as well as bounce houses, arcade rides, climbing structures, and miniature golf. His efforts, which included maintenance and repairs, cooking, and bookkeeping, created a memorable environment that ensured children left tired and happy, having made new friends.
Steven Bankert gained early insight into the hospitality industry from his parents and grandparents, who maintained a restaurant that he helped out at as a teenager. After high school, he launched a successful electrical contracting business that met the commercial and residential needs of customers across the North Attleboro region. His favorite free-time activities include swimming, kayaking, and sporting events.
